Influence of the wind on the temperature
  • Summer:  Seawater warms up slowly -> wind is cool -> beacause of that it is colder near the coast than inland.
  • Winter: Seawater cools down slowly -> Wind is not so cold -> near the coast it is warmer than more inland. 
  • wind from sea towards land = onshore wind
  • wind from land toward sea =  offshore wind
