Categories: how to play?

- There are 4 categories on the board (for example: food, animals, movies...)

- I will choose one letter of the alphabet

- As quickly as possible you must try to think of a word that fits each category and which begins with the given letter. 

- As soon as a team has a word for every category they should shout stop! The other teams must immediately stop writing and put their pens down.

- We listen to the words they came up with. They get a point if all answers are correct.

Past Simple 

What do you remember about the past simple? Write down as much as possible. Think of: form, when to use, signal words

Write down everything you know about the past simple.

Present Simple 

- Groups of four

- Large piece of paper

- 3 minutes to think of everything you remember about the present simple (form, when to use, signal words)

- 4 minutes to discuss what you wrote down and write down a group explanation of the present simple
