Are books better than movies?

1. I'd rather read a book than watch a movie.

Skimmen en scannen zijn leesstrategieën

 die jou helpen om snel en makkelijk informatie

 op te zoeken in een leestekst.

In de volgende video wordt uitgelegd wanneer en hoe je scannen en skimmen toepast tijdens het lezen.

LET OP:

Eerst wordt scannen uitgelegd, daarna skimmen.

Skimmen / scannen

Skimmen : ELZA-methode

Je leest de tekst globaal door om erachter te komen waar deze over gaat. Kijk naar opvallende stukjes en lees de Eerste en Laatste Zin van iedere Alinea. Je gebruikt skimmen bij vragen die gaan over de hele tekst: je zoekt naar aanwijzingen voor het antwoord. Je skimt ook door je Instagram account.

Scannen

Zoek uit waar het antwoord op de vraag staat en lees dit stukje intensief. Je gebruikt scannen bij vragen naar specifieke informatie. Bijv. tijden en prijzen.
