Sollicitatiebrief: a letter of application

Dear Mr Linesdale,

My name is Arne Vissers and I would like to apply for the job of caretaker at Tesco. I am a seventeen-year-old boy and I live in the Netherlands. I will finish my final exams this summer and after that I will be staying with relatives in Oxford for two months. I will be in Oxford in July and August. I would very much like to work at your supermarket during this time.

I have two years' experience working at the supermarket in Appeltern. I can communicate well with everyone and I love cleaning. If possible, I would like to work eighteen hours a week.

I look forward to meeting you in person to discuss my skills further.
