Past Simple

•  Regular: Verb+ed (V-ed): (visit = visited), (watch = watched)
• verbs with short/ one vowel and one consonant: (plan = planned), (clap = clapped)
• verbs ending in -(consonant)+y: (try = tried)
• Verbs ending in -(vowel)-y: stay = stayed
