Possessive pronouns

 Als je wilt uitdrukken dat iets bezit is, kun je possessive pronouns (bezittelijke voornaamwoorden) gebruiken.

LET OP! HET ENGELSE WOORD 'I' SCHRIJF JE ALTIJD MET EEN HOOFDLETTER, OOK AL STAAT HET MIDden in de zin. 

Possessive (bezittelijk)

Bezit aanduiden: 's achter een woord (enkelv.): My sister's bag.

Woord mv eindigt op -s: alleen een apostrof toe: My parents' car.

De 'bezitter' is geen persoon: gebruik geen ' of 's

The colour of the car is blue, niet the car's colour...

De meeste vormen eindigen in het meervoud op -s. Dus plak een -s achter het woord.
