* The verb ends in a snake-sound: he/she/it + verb + es
kiss : he kisses
watch TV : she watches TV
* The last letter of the verb is a –y
the letter before the –y is a vowel (a,e,u,i,o) : he/she/it + verb + s
play: he plays
the letter before the -y is a consonant: the -y changes into an ie
try: she tries
* Study these exceptions:
go : he goes
do: he does
