Word web school words

What school words do you already know in English?

Work in pairs or groups of 3 and make a word web together.

Write down all the English schoolwords that you can think of. 

Words in context

Do you know the meaning of the words in bold print?

Write down the Dutch meaning if you know it. 

Leave the word open if you don't know it. 

Schoolwords to learn

• Stick the words in your English notebook with glue.
• Grab two coloured pencils (green and yellow)
• Check the words and their meaning. 
•         Do you already know the word (and the English spelling!), colour the dot green. 
•          Is the word new to you or are you not sure about it yet, colour it yellow.
• Done? Test yourself or work in pairs and test a neighbour
