5.4 Imperative

Imperative (gebiedende wijs)

Gebruikt om iemand een opdracht of bevel te geven

1. Positief: Begin met het werkwoord
   Be careful with that!
   Listen to what I'm telling you.
   Go away! I'm busy.
2. Negatief: Begin met Don't
   Don't listen to that terrible music.
   Don't bother me when I'm doing my homework.
3. Vriendelijker maken: zet please vooraan of achteraan
   Please listen to what I'm telling you.
   Don't climb that statue please

Exercise 1

Verander de zin/vraag naar een bevel (imperative)

Bijv:

Can you listen to me? --> Listen to me.

Could you help me?(beleefd) --> Please help me.

Can you close the window?

Can you pass me the salt? (beleefd)

Can you remember to buy some milk?

Could you help me with this assignment?

Can you turn off the lights before leaving?
