• Could you come up with enough words?

• Choose two or three words. Write these down on the sheet that is going around class.

Next: Find a photo...

1. Go to Google.com;
2.  Search for a photo of something that you have done or would like to do on holiday. What is this called in English?
3. Use this photo in the next slide and                                  write down the name of the activity.
4. Example ->

Banana boat

Post a photo of a holiday activity.
Also write down the name.

Let's watch a video

This video is about souvenirs.

We will talk about what we saw afterwards.

What did we see?

Have you ever been in a souvenir shop?

What would be in a Dutch souvenir shop?

What else can you find there?

Step 1: About your holiday...

We are going to do a writing assignment about our holidays.

• Write at least five sentences about your holiday;
• You can write about: what you did, where you went, what is was like, etc.;
• Six minutes;
• Done early? Write some more by adding a P.S.

• At the end, you will have a short text that a classmate will read.

Step 2:

• (Do not forget to write down your name!)

• Hand in your text. You are going to get someone else's text and respond to that in a few sentences.

• You can react, ask questions and tell about your own holiday.

Step 3:

Give the text back to the person who originally wrote it!

Next class:

We are going to start working on the postcard!

HW: Decide on what country you are going to write about.
