De past simple van to be gebruik je wanneer je wilt zeggen dat iets vroeger was. Nu is dat voorbij.

Past simple "to have"

Wanneer je van een positieve zin een negatieve zin wilt maken gebruik je didn't have.  Hiermee geef je dus aan dat je iets vroeger niet had.

Didn't = Did not

I didn't have breakfast this morning.

We didn't have tests this whole week.
