The growth

After 1960 two population groups grew: Asians and Hispanics

The US is a multicultural society

The have a lot of young migrants.

We see a lot of differences in the US, but there's also 

assimilation: Process in which migrants adopt more and more elements of the dominant culture.

There is racism in many states. 

This started years ago and has 

never completely disappeared.
