Silent studying

You may study the words (page 75-76), grammar (page 77) or stones (page 76) from chapter 1.

You are completely silent.

Questions (Monday)

1: Was/were at the beginning

" Were you ill yesterday?"

2: Did at the beginning, + infinitive 

"Did you help him with his homework?"

3: wh-words at the beginning

"Where are my books?"

Grammar explanation

1: with was/were, you add n't to the verb (wasn't, weren't)

" I was at school yesterday"

" I wasn't at school yesterday"

2: with all other verbs, you put didn't before the main verb, followed by the infinitive (hele werkwoord).

" We brought lunch to work"

"we didn't bring lunch to work"
