   to be going to, will and shall

 the future (toekomst) - 'to be going to', 'will' & 'shall'

2 manieren 'to be going to' + ww

1.  Bij plannen die al gemaakt waren vóór het moment van spreken

                      I am going to visit John this afternoon. 

     (dit stond al gepland voordat je deze zin uitsprak).

2. Als er op het moment van spreken aanwijzingen zijn dat iets in de toekomst gaan gebeuren

                    Look at those dark clouds. It's going to rain. 

    (de donkere wolken zijn een aanwijzing dat het in de toekomst gaat regenen)

Hoe vervoeg  'to be going to' in een (bevestigende) zin?

I                              + am + going to + hele werkwoord

you/we/they     + are + going to + hele werkwoord

he/she/it            + is    + going to  + hele werkwoord

I am going to visit my grandmother today?

Hoe vervoeg  'to be going to' in een

(bevestigende) vragend (?)of ontkennende zin (-)?

Am + I  + going to + hele werkwoord?

 Are you/we/they  + going to + hele werkwoord?

 Is + he/she/it +  going to + hele werkwoord?

                

 Bijv. Am I going to visit my grandmother today?

                                                                     I + am not + going to + hele werkwoord
                                                                    You/we/they + are not + going to + hele werkwoord
                                                                    He/she/it + is not + going to + hele werkwoord

                                                                    Bijv. I am not going to visit my grandmother today. 

Will & Shall

2 manieren will+ shall + hele werkwoord

1. Als jij iets beslist op het moment van spreken

Bijv. I will call him this afternoon. 

         (Op het moment van spreken besluit je om John vanmiddag te gaan bellen)

2. Bij wens, belofte, aanbod, verzoek of voorspelling.

Bijv. (wens) I wish that it will rain tomorrow.

Hoe zit het nu tussen will en shall? BIJ VRAGEN!

• In vragen kun je will of shall gebruiken.
• Shall gebruik je alleen met I en we. 
  
•  Shall we go out or stay in? - (je vraagt naar een mening)
  
•   Shall we go shopping this weekend? - (je doet een voorstel)

bijv.  Will you/he/she/it/they do that?
