1. Adjective (Postive vorm): Normal adjective without comparisson. Voorbeld: (groot) big, (mooi) beaitiful, (snel) fast. 
2. Comparative (Vergrotende Trap): Used to compare two things. You can add er 
groter - bigger
mooier- more beautiful 
sneller- faster
You can also use 'meer' (more)  of 'minder' (less) with longer adjectives. 
3. Superlative (Overtreffende trap): Describe the most of something in comparsion to many things. In Dutch you add -st to the adjective or using 'meest' (most) for longer adjectives. 
- grootst- biggest
mooiest - most beautiful 
snelst- fastest 
meest interessant - most intresting 
meest duur - most expensive
