Engels Term 3 

SE3 Words + Reading (4x, herk.)

Part 1     Examenidioom 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 

                 Learn the words English-Dutch and Dutch-English as indicated in your book. 

                  No dictionaries allowed for this part of the exam.

Part 2      Reading = exam texts   

                  You are allowed to use dictionaries (Eng-Ned, Ned-Eng, Ned)

SE Speaking (2x, herk.)    Speaking exam in groups of 4. 

                 Choose 4 out of 10 given subjects and prepare those subjects for your speaking exam. 

                  You are NOT allowed to bring anything with you to the exam.

PO Literature (2x, niet herk.)

Read the book And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie 

You are going to write an essay in the SE-week . You are allowed to use dictionaries (Eng-Ned, Ned-Eng, Ned) 

You have to bring your book with you to the exam.

Mondeling (2x) 

- groepjes van maximaal 4 (2 of 3 mag ook)

- individueel cijfer

- 50% Engels, 50% inhoud

- duur: 15 minuten bij groepje van 4

- 4 onderwerpen waar je over moet kunnen discussiëren

- mondelingen zijn in de week voor de vakantie

• th 
• The u in but
• p / t / k and plosives ('tango' - 'kill' - 'paper')
• A cup of tea -> A-cup-o-tea
• When in doubt: use fillers.  'I really don't know what to say right now', 'I need a moment here'  'I'm sorry, I don't remember the correct word'. How do you say 'fantastisch' in English?'.
