Before the break we discussed adverbs of frequency and question words

This lesson we are going to learn about the prepositions of time. This is the last grammar item of this unit. This means you get the selfcheck unit 2 as homework.

Prepositions of time

On = voor dagen

At = voor tijdstippen / feestdagen 

In = voor maanden / jaren / seizoenen / dagdelen ('s morgens, 's middags of 's avonds)

Until = tot - You have until Friday to hand it in.

 In = over (een hoeveelheid tijd) - I will be there in five minutes.

Before = voor - He is going to pay before Thursday.

After = na - They will leave after lunch.

From ...... to = van ...... tot - It lasts from Monday to Friday.

During = tijdens - We aren't allowed to talk during grammar explanation
