  • Use capitals when starting a sentence
  • 'I' also has a capital letter (just saying)

  • start with 'Hi' or 'Dear' 
  • Introduction, Body, Conclusion
  • You end with 'Love', 'Best wishes', 'All the best', 'Yours'

you introduce yourself and your purpose for writing

You state your cause, using one topic per paragraph

Conclusion
You end your letter with a line that tells its reader what you would like them to do ('respond, reply, think of me') or a catchy phrase that sums up the content of your letter.

  • 200-300 words
  • to someone you admire
  • Par 1: introduce yourself & your purpose: to let them know you admire them greatly (50- 75 words)

  • Par 2: tell them why you admire them and what that means to you ( 100- 150)
  • Par 3: end your letter. Let the reader know what you expect from them (or hope) (50 - 75 words).
