3. The Buddha was destined to be a great spiritual teacher. He 
 would overcome suffering. He would realiste the potential all human 
beings have. Even the Buddha would experience tragedy. He would fulfill his destiny.
4. That no can avoid suffering. Money/luxury cannot protect humans from life's realities. Common sufferings are birth, old age and sickness. That it may be possible to overcome sufering. Determination to go on spiritual quest to overcome sufffering. To learn how to be permanently content.

3. A life between the extremes of hardship and luxury. Also an attitude of mind: steadfast, centred, determined, focuses etc.
4. Think of a 'lightbulb' moment when sth clicks: it all makes sense. The Buddha's enlightenment then 'lit up' the world, giving everyone the access to knowledge that could make them enlightened

If we want things we haven't got, then we will not be happy and suffer.
