Passive - When?
1. Wanneer het onbelangrijk is wie of wat de actie heeft gedaan.
           - The class is cancelled.

2. Je niet wil zeggen over wie het gaat.
          - The vase is broken.

3. Het onbekend is wie het gedaan heeft.
          - My textbook was taken by someone.

Object (onderwerp) + to be (am, is, are) + past participle (voltooid deelwoord)+ subject
PRESENT SIMPLE (TT)
I do the homework.        
The homework is done (by me).

She eats the apples.
The apples are eaten (by her).

PAST SIMPLE
I did the homework.
The homework was done (by me).

She ate the apples.
The apples were eaten (by her)
