First we use ‘a’ or ‘an’. After we use ‘the’.

She had a cheese sandwich and crisps for lunch. She didn’t like the sandwich.

We are in an old hotel. There is a swimming pool in the hotel.

Plurals - Множественное число

1. В большинстве слов -s 

Напр. a book - books

2. -es После гласной буквы o и шипящих (-sh, -ch, -s, -ss, -x)

Напр. a tomato - tomatoes, a bus-buses

3. Если слово оканчивается на y (согласная + y) то y меняется на i и прибавляем -es, если (гласная + y), то прибавляем просто -s

Напр. a toy - toys НО a baby - babies
