Which strategy/strategies did you use for the homework? You should have written these down!

Slide 11 - Question ouverte

Music Ex. 2
This one is tricky, you have to remember grammar from 5..? years ago! Here's a reminder (with my personal donkey bridges):

Present simple: I work, he works, they work
This rule is simple! It is used for facts, regularities and habits. (Aka simple things)
Present continuous: I am working, he is working, they are working
This rule is about something which is still continues at this moment.

Which strategy/strategies did you use for the homework? You should have written these down!

Slide 14 - Question ouverte

Ex. 3
Exercise 3 is the most annoying one of this set, since the words given are very similar, I'd recommend you cross the wrong answers (some are obviously wrong) and try to see which one fits best. TAKE YOUR TIME WITH THESE.

Slide 16 - Diapositive

Which strategy/strategies did you use for the homework? You should have written these down!

Slide 17 - Question ouverte

ex 1
Exercise 1: this one is tricky (the hardest one in my opinion)! It requires you to look at the context of the sentence and determine based on different factors (including tense!) what the correct answer is while keeping track of what words you've used.

The subject is also a huge factor in determining whether an exercise is difficult or not.

Which strategy/strategies did you use for the homework? You should have written these down!

Slide 20 - Question ouverte

Ex. 2
Some sentences sound VERY weird, those are probably wrong. (Try to read them out aloud, don't do this at the test though...)

Slide 21 - Diapositive

Slide 22 - Diapositive

Which strategy/strategies did you use for the homework? You should have written these down!

Slide 23 - Question ouverte

Ex 3
READ THE ENTIRE SENTENCE. What helped for me was repeating things and afterwards they started to make sense. Translating can also help you. Sometimes you are required to read the sentence after the gapped sentence.

Slide 24 - Diapositive

How many did you get right? (try to guess and be honest, no shame!)
A
Between 0% and 25%
B
Between 26% and 50%
C
Between 51% and 75%
D
Between 76% and 100%

Slide 25 - Quiz

Try to formulate your own learning goal on what you are going to work for the test.
