Learning goals:
Learn about literature: language functioning in war rhetoric, study poems, watch a movie and study literary terms, create your own poems and discuss them in groups.

What do you need to do?
  • Go through the entire reader and do the tasks (I will tell you  what to do and when)
  • Read the War poems and analyse them using the glossary
  • Decide which poem is your favourite and why
  • Watch a film and write an opinion piece of 300 words
  • Write a poem using your new acquired knowledge
  • Oral test in groups of 3 about all of the above

1. Read p. 3 & 4 "What is Poetry?" in your reader. Summarize what you read in at least 6 sentences.

2. Do the glossary assignment on p. 5. Can't find everything in the glossary? Look it up online!
