Today-----The menstrual cycle

• BETWEEN 2 - 9 WEEKS (28 DAYS -4 WEEKS)
• ESTROGEN & PROGESTERON

• EGG CELLS RELEASED

IVF in vitro fertilisation:

• Egg cells are removed from the woman.
• Spermcells are injected under a microscope.
• The zygote is left to divide into an embryo.
• The embryo's are placed back into the uterus. 

Miscarriage / Abortion:

• With a miscarriage the pregnancy is ended because the baby dies or the woman's body can't handle the pregnancy.

• With an abortion the woman chooses to end the pregnancy. (12 weeks or 20 weeks).
