Definition of 'comparison':

comparison

noun

1. a consideration or estimate of the similarities or dissimilarities between two things or people.

"they drew a comparison between Gandhi's teaching and that of other teachers"

Assignment 1: Speaking&comparisons

- Team up with your neighbour

- Take an item from your bag, or think of an item at home 

- Check if your neighbour has this item too

Then compare the two items

- Use the comparison words on page 89 of your Reference

Make a grammatically correct sentence with every comparison linking word from your Reference, p. 89
