Slide 6 - Question ouverte

Dear Future Managers,
Once upon a time there was no social media. Whatever happened to you at work or in private stayed there: behind closed doors. No photos, no selfies, no tweets were published while working, engaging in sports or going out....ever! The only people exposed to media attention were famous people or criminals.

Slide 7 - Diapositive

Beste toekomstige managers

Today this situation has transformed entirely. We all see everything. We all know everything about everybody, even the things we do not want to know.  We are all public figures on our own social media accounts. Or are we still private people there?

Future managers, this is the problem you are facing:

Slide 9 - Diapositive

Slide 10 - Diapositive

Social media plays a huge role in society and not just at home but also in the workplace. Problems occur more and more frequently when employees post disturbing or offensive content through social media. Or even more innocent, when they show themselves attending a party and dancing all night forgetting that they called in sick that same day. This results in many cases of dismissal worldwide.

Slide 11 - Diapositive
