eBay was founded in the United States by Pierre Omidyar. It is an auction site where people sell items and buyers bid on items of interest.

Every day millions of objects are sold in this site, from cars, antiques, books to electronics and food. Virtually anything can be sold, for example, a grilled cheese sandwich, unusual things such as Justin Bieber's lock of hair, including a yacht that was sold for $168 million.

Since its beginnings in 1995, eBay has seen explosive  growth  and it  is   one of the most recognized companies in history where millions of dollars are made every day. It has more than 100 million users, 800 million items listed and 279 million downloads of the eBay app. In simple words, eBay is one of the greatest success stories in business history.
