1.  Je start je antwoord met "yes" of "no"

2. Je kiest de juiste persoon (I, you, we, she, they etc)

3. Je herhaalt het eerste woord van de vraag

4. Als het antwoord "no" is, plak je daar nog n't (not) achter

How to make a question?

There are 3 ways to make a question: 
  • With am, are, is and can
  • With the verb do
  • To have got

Am, are, is and can
To make a question with am, are, is and can, you can 
put it at the beginning of the sentence. 

You are the teacher = Are you the teacher?
You can do you homework = Can you do your homework?

With the verb do
To make questions with other verbs, you add do or does at the beginning of the sentence.

With the verb to have got you move have to the front and got stays where it is

How to make a negative sentence?

There are 3 ways to make a negative sentence: 
  1. With am, are, is and can
  2. With the verb do
  3. To have got

Am, are, is and can
You add not or -n't after the verbs am, are, is and can

I am in class today = I am not in class today of  I'm not in class 
You are at home = You are not at home of You aren't at home

can not = cannot

I like English = I do not like English or I don't like English
I have a sister = I do not have a sister or I don't have a sister
