Present Simple:

Gebruik je in de tegenwoordige tijd voor feiten en gewoontes, voor zaken die altijd, nooit of regelmatig gebeuren.

 

Vaak staat er wel een woord in de zin zoals: 

always, never, ever, usually, sometimes, every day.

Hoe kies je welke tijd het is?

Dubbelcheck: is het nog steeds aan de gang(Present Perfect) of is het al voorbij? (Past Simple)

Past Simple: LADY last night, a week ago, date(: this morning, when, in 1999) yesterday enz. Woorden die aangeven dat het al voorbij is!

Present Perfect: FYNE JASSH for, yet, never, ever, just, already, since, so(far), how(ever)

Woorden die aangeven dat iets nog steeds bezig is! Resultaat!

Als je de tijd hebt gekozen...

Past Simple: stam + ED  of 2e rijtje onregelmatige werkwoorden.

I bought a car yesterday.                   They talked a lot last night.

Present Perfect: have / has + voltooid deelwoord (stam + ED of 3e rijtje onregelmatige werkwoorden.

We have lived here since 1999.             He has already eaten a lot.
