This sword stands for freedom and power, which were two important values for King Arthur. King Arthur brought freedom to the Britons by conquering the Anglo-Saxon invaders. He was a powerful knight who defeated many enemies and won a lot of great battles during his lifetime.
Here you see the Castle of Camelot. This mythical castle was an important place for Arthur because this is where he lived with his beloved wife Guinevere and where he sat at the Round Table with his knights. The location of the castle has been a mystery since early times but even nowadays Camelot is a strong symbol of King Arthur and his court.
King Arthur’s motto is: 'Good deeds will be remembered forever.'
King Arthur did a lot of good deeds during his lifetime. He saved the lives of many people and he cared about the people in his kingdom. Because of this King Arthur became an icon throughout the ages and will be remembered forever.
Blue stands for loyalty and honesty. King Arthur was loyal to his people, he tried to help everyone in his kingdom. He also valued honesty and was honest himself. He treated everyone equally.
The heart stands for King Arthur’s personality. He was known for his warmth and his dislike of arrogance. The table in his castle was round, which signified that every knight who sat at it had a similar status. King Arthur was helpful and always stood up for the weak in his court. He was a capable and peaceful leader which is why the Britons lived in peace for a long period of time under his rule.
The eagle represents King Arthur’s strong desire to protect everyone. He took this task very seriously. He successfully protected the people of England by fighting the Anglo-Saxon invaders. As a king, he also wanted to protect the weak and oppressed people in his court.
The colour red stands for strength and greatness. People have always seen King Arthur as a strong king and because of his greatness even today people know who he is.
Did you choose the same symbols, colours, location and animal?
