What should be included in a virtual tour?

With the pandemic keeping borders closed and people in their homes, people turn to virtual tours to explore spaces before they visit or buy.
The Virtual Tour Project

In groups of 3-4, you will write a script and record a virtual tour at the Zaanse Schans for tourists from all over the world in which you incorporate certain tenses and show us your speaking skills.

Goals
  • You can give an introduction of a tourist destination and describe its history using the past simple, past continuous and present perfect.

  • You can describe the facilities of a tourist destination using the present simple.

  • You can describe the plans for the future of a tourist destination using the future tenses.

  1. Introduction of the Zaanse Schans including its history        (150 words & 1 min. per person)

  2. Description of:                                                        (250 words & 1.5 minutes of speaking per person)

  3. Plans for the future of the Zaanse Schans                                (150 words and 1 min. per person)

ASSESSMENT
DEADLINE script and video:  Friday, 22nd of April 2022 at 17:00

A few times during the project, you will have to hand in (parts) of your script so your teachers can track your progress and give you feedback.

IMPORTANT: 
Your grade will be lowered with 0.5 point each time your group did not hand in the draft of the script when this was required and will be lowered up to 3 points if the work is not your own and original (plagiarism)--> Hand in through ELO.
