3. What is germination? Germination is the process of the seed starting to grow. 
4. With germination what part of the embryo grows first, the plumule or the radicle? Please explain your answer.
First the radicle grows so that the plant can start absorbing water and after that the plumule grows so that the plant can start doing photosynthesis.
