Grammar - Past Simple (gewone verleden tijd) - CB p114:

Regular verbs - spelling rules / spellingsregels:

infinitive - e / stam + eindigd op -e => +d

Ex: to tremble => trembled

The student trembled when he was caught cheating.

infinitive = 1 lettergreep eindigend op medeklinker = verdubbeling medeklinker

to shop = shopped / to skid = skidded

Grammar - Much/Many (veel):

Noun / zelfstandignaamwoord:

Uncountable (ontelbaar/enkelvoud) = much

Ex: That can of Coke costs too much money.

Countable (telbaar/meervoud) = many

Ex: There are not many students in this class.
