Problem-solving in 4 steps:

1. Define the problem (wh -questions)

2. Generate alternatives

3. Assess the alternatives

4. Choose the best solution

'How to complain effectively and get what you want'.

Tips 

1. First of all, calm down. Don't complain immediately.

2. Collect dates, times and names of those involved.

3. Think of what you want to achieve from your complaint.

4. Focus on making sure it doesn't happen again and finding a solution.

5. Be careful not to annoy people: be polite, patient and respectful.

6. Don't be rude: be direct, clear and non-aggressive.

7. Set a time limit of fourteen days as a minimum for a reply.
