Formal/Informal

What is formal?

Formal is written for an audience you don't know on a personal level, this is in professional language.

What is informal?

Informal is correct language that is more casual and spontaneous.

When do we write informally?

- Writing to a friend

- writing creatively

- Sharing a story or writing a blog

- When school tells you to do it
