Some tips
Scan the texts:
you do not need to read and/or understand every word;
let your eyes move quickly across the text untill you find what you are looking for;
use clues on the page (headlines, titles, pictures);
see if there is an idea behind the way that the information is ordered (c.f. chronological, alphabethical, etc.);
