What is a comparative?

Comparative

= vergelijking

Something is being compared with something else

That building is taller than this one

This box is smaller than the other one

Comparatives

Keep in mind: Woorden met 3 lettergrepen of meer krijgen 'more' voor het woord

This bag is more expensive than that one

She is more beautiful than he is

Comparative

What if two of the same things are being compared?

This building is just as tall as that one

He is just as nice as she is

Superlative

= de overtreffende trap van het woord

There are some exceptions.
