Aims

At the end of the lesson, you are able to say something about the product, attitude and recommendation of a short review.

At the end of the lesson, you are able to write a short (practice) review where opinion is central.

review - (noun)

 A report in a newspaper or magazine, or on the internet, television or radio, in which somebody gives their opinion of a book, play, film, product, etc.; the act of writing this kind of report.

Writing a review

The coming two weeks we'll be focusing on writing a review, because you are going to write one about the book that you are currently reading.

What needs to be in a review?

Booktest #2 - Review - 11-03

• You are going to write a review of 140-190 words about your book.
• You will have 50 minutes to write the review.
• You are allowed to have your book with you.

I will send you the rubric (rubriek) beforehand, so that you know what I will be marking you on.
