Afspraken
- Loop rustig het lokaal binnen en pak direct de spullen die je nodig hebt.
- Sta niet van je plek op, tenzij je naar het toilet moet en daarvoor toestemming hebt gekregen.
- Als je een vraag hebt, steek dan je vinger op.
Nieuwe afspraken:
- Je blijft zitten volgens de plattegrond. Je mag niet ergens anders zitten ook al is er iemand ziek. 
- Als je je niet houdt aan bovenstaande afspraken of je op een andere manier misdraagt, ontvang je een waarschuwing. Bij meerdere waarschuwingen krijg je strafwerk (zoals dingen overschrijven).
- Blijft het probleem bestaan, dan moet je op donderdag tijdens het 8e uur nablijven. Als je niet komt, wordt de leerling coördinator ingelicht.

Mock test
  • I'm going to hand out the mock test which is about all the grammar you need to know for the test week.
  • You have about 25 minutes to finish it. 
  • So please move your tables apart.
  • If you finish earlier, you can do exercises 1,2,3,4 on page 79 OR you may study for another subject. 
  • Once everyone is done we will check the answers.

When? 
- Facts> the train leaves  at 8 pm. 
- Routine> she usually  plays football with her friends. 
(usually, always, sometimes, most days, every day, often , on Mondays)

How?
We can make the present simple by using the whole verb. 
For He , She and It we add an 's' at the end of the verb.

Pos.        She eats with her friend in the morning.
Neg.       She doesn't eat with her friend in the morning.
Quest.   Does she eat with her friend in the morning?

When? 
- things that are happening at the moment. 
(currently, right now, now, at the moment) 
- when you talk about temporary situations>
I'm staying with my aunt while I'm in San Francisco. 

How?
We can make the present continuous by:
using the verb 'to be' + verb-ing
> He is working right now.

Examples
Pos.            They are swimming at the moment.
Neg.           They aren't swimming at the moment.
Quest.        Are they swimming at the moment?

1. Een lettergreep of twee lettergrepen die eindigen met 
medeklinker+y:  Gebruik -er than / the .... -est

2. Twee lettergrepen of meer: Gebruik more.. than/the most
>That engine is way more powerful than this one.
> This is the most interesting story I've ever read.

3. Bij vergelijking, net zoals: Gebruik (not) as.... as
 >This coat is as soft as yours.

Relative pronouns
1. Who - gebruik je alleen om te verwijzen naar mensen.
> This is my sister, who shares a room with me.

2. Which - gebruik je alleen om te verwijzen naar dieren en dingen.
> We loved our hotel, which was on the seafront.

3. Whose - gebruik je alleen om aan te geven van wie of wat iets is.
There was a boy whose name was Jim.

Relative pronouns
 Je mag 'who'en 'which' ook vervangen met 'that'' tenzij er een komma voor staat.
1. Is that the man who gave you a compliment? > Is that the man that gave you a compliment?

2. I like the song which is on the radio now. > I like the song that is on the radio now. 

Bij deze zinnen mag je dus geen 'that' gebruiken omdat er een komma voor staat.
- My phone, which I just bought last month, is already broken.
- The painting, which hangs in the living room, was a gift from my grandmother.
