PRESENT SIMPLE
HOW DO WE FORM THE PRESENT SIMPLE? 
[VERB] + s/es in third person

I/they/we work in London
He/she/it works in London

I/they/we always do things a certain way
He/she/it always does things a certain way

WHAT DO WE USE IT FOR?
PRESENT SIMPLE USE:
something that is true in the present:
He lives in London.
I am a student.

something that happens again and again in the present:
I play football every weekend.

We use words like sometimes, often, always, and never (adverbs of frequency) with the present tense
I sometimes go to the cinema

something that is always true:
The adult human body contains 206 bones.
Light travels at almost 300,000 kilometres per second.

WHAT DO WE USE IT FOR?
We use the Present Simple to talk about facts, routines, likes and dislikes.
For example:
Ms. Naomi is 1,78 cm tall
I always take the bus to school
She loves books
I hate techno music

NEGATIVES
With the present tense we use do and does to make negatives. We use does not (doesn’t) for the third person (she/he/it) and we use do not (don’t) for the others.
She doesn't eat after dinner.
I don't watch tv a lot.

REMEMBER THIS

Spelling rules for he/she/it:
- Most verbs add -s: play -> plays
- verbs ending in -o, -sh, -ch, -x add -es: go -> goes; relax -> relaxes
- verbs ending in a consonant + -y change y to -ies; study -> studies
- have is irregular: have -> has
