today we will introduce Eco Tourism

Even if you do not know what Eco Tourism is: What comes to your mind when you hear the word?

The opposite of Eco Tourism is Mass Tourism. What is mass tourism?

1. The amount of people that travel every year
2. When tens of thousands of people travel to the same place

Can you think of some examples of mass tourism?

Beyond just Nature

Eco Tourism also means that you give the money to the people of the community. 

Instead of paying a travel agency in your own country, you can pay a travel agency in the country or place that you are visiting

Making our trip sustainable

We took the effort to find a local guide to take us on the volcano  instead of paying a touristy hotel to do it. That way our money was going back into the community
