SE Speaking: General information

The SE Speaking ...

- takes place in testweek 3.

- lasts 20 minutes.

- consists of 3 parts.

- counts 12 times.

There is no opportunity to resit the SE Speaking.

Part 1

- Talking about one text, previously dealt with in class.

- Reader: SE Speaking

Texts VWO 2022 - 2023

- Reading out loud, giving your opinion, talking about the general subject of the text.

Part 2

- Talking about the 3 books that you've read this year.

- Be able to talk about the plot, characters, themes, etc.

- Make use of your preparation assignments.

Part 3

- A 3-minute speech on a subject that has to do with the English-speaking world (culture, language, country, history)

- You have to learn it by heart, no cheat sheet, only pictures allowed.

Grading

- Grade will be given at the end of the SE Speaking.

- SE Speaking will be recorded.

- Regulations in case of disagreement: second opinion.
