Extreme adjectives are words used to describe something in an exaggerated way.

They are more intense than regular adjectives and often used to emphasize a point.

When do we use ''used to''?

Describing past habits: Actions you did regularly in the past but no longer do.

Past states: Situations or conditions that were true in the past but are no longer true.

When do we use ''used to''?

Examples:

Habit: "I used to play football every weekend."

(I played football regularly in the past, but I don't anymore.)

State: "She used to live in Paris."

(She lived in Paris in the past, but she doesn't anymore.)

When do we use ''would''?

Who can tell me when we use it?

Who can give me some examples?

When do we use ''would''?

Describing past habits or repeated actions: 

Things you did frequently in the past, similar to "used to".

"Used to" emphasizes that the action or state is no longer true.

"Would" focuses more on the repetition of the action in the past.

When do we use ''would''?

Habit: "Every evening, we would watch the sunset."

(We watched the sunset every evening in the past.)

Repeated Action: "He would always bring flowers to his grandmother."

(He brought flowers to his grandmother regularly in the past.)
