Rules Genitive (1)

People & Animals

Singular: (enkelvoud)
+ 's  -----> the cat's food/Julie's dog/ James's coat.

Plural: (meervoud)

ends with - s -> only an apostrophe ( ') ---> my  parents' room/the customers' coats.

doesn't end with -s -> + 's  ----> the children's room.
