In which countries is English an official language?

Around 60 sovereign countries have English as an official language, such as
the obvious UK, USA, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
But also South-Africa, Singapore, Philipines, Barbados, Sint Maarten, Kenya, several Caribbean islands.

Different pronunciation?
British:
r - when followed by a vowel sound (klinker) - (at beginning of word) 
   - ring / marry
t - hard t - better (no pronunciation of r)
American:
r - every r in a word - butter
t - sound like d - butter sounds like budder
There are also differences between American and British English in the areas of spelling and vocabulary
