what is air?

a mixture of....

oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen and water vapour

what happens to these gasses?

Air is a mixture of gasses 

so 21- 17 = 4% O2 is used in the body

so 4-0,04=3,96% CO2 is waste from the body

a lot of water is exhaled!

Why?

• Occurs in the mitochondria
