Je gebruikt een vorm van to be going to wanneer..

1. je iets van plan bent in de toekomst;

      I am going to watch a movie tonight.

2. je zeker weet dat iets zal gaan gebeuren.

      Look at those clouds! It is going to rain.

en er is bewijs voor!

TO BE GOING TO

TO BE + going to + werkwoord

wanneer er als werkwoord "to walk" staat, gebruik dan alleen "walk" zonder "to".

dit neem je gewoon letterlijk zo over.

TO BE GOING TO

She         is               going to                  eat           rice.

She         is    not    going to                  eat           rice.

Is           she             going to                  eat           rice?
