• Hook: Does the writer start with a sentence that intrigues you to read on. 

• Info: Does the writer inform you about what you are gonig to read?
• Is it in a paragraph?

Body paragraph

• State: Does the writer state their point of view?
• Explain: Does the writer explain what it is and why they think it is the way it is?
• Illustrate: Does the writer illustrate their point of view by giving examples.

Conclusion

• Recap: Does the writer repeat their arguments.
• Closing line: Does the writer end with a good and catchy closing line.
