The English classroom

What do I expect of you?

- You are on time.

- Put your phone away when you walk into the room

- Grab your laptop & log in to the LessonUp

- Raise your hand

- Do your homework

- Bring your classroom supplies: laptop, book, binder (planner) + pen

4. Newsround, speaking exercise, end off class.

4. All done? = Extra point at test

5. Continue with the reader/Newsround/homework/new assignment/studying vocabulary/reading/etc.

Am/are/is = start of the sentence

Are you coming with us?

Negation: Don't/Doesn't

No, I don't like apple pie.

Am/are/is + n't : I'm not interested

Word order: who - does - what - where - when

Past

Simple: Stam + ed

I walked to the library.

I already knew that Chris lied to me.

Continuous: Was/were + ing

I was walking to school yesterday, when an old man fell.

Past

Question: Did + stam

Did you know that he would come to this party?

Was/were/could

Was your friend happy to see you?

Negation: Didn't + stam

No, I didn't know about that.

Was/were/could + n't

You weren't at the party

Chris wasn't at the party

Maak een ontkenning van de zin:
