De oefeningen op de volgende pagina's laten je oefenen met de present perfect en past simple.

Om verwarring te voorkomen.

Simple past en past simple zijn hetzelfde

Past Continuous en Past Progressive zijn ook hetzelfde.

Het zijn slechts andere woorden voor hetzelfde.

Present Perfect Continuous

The Present Perfect Continuous 

- With the keywords 'recently' en 'lately':

Example: Recently, I have been feeling sick.

Present perfect continuous

have/has been + stam + ing

He/she/it	has been doing
We	have been doing

They	have been doing

The Present Perfect Continuous 

- If something started in the past and it still continuous and you really want to emphasize the length of time 

Example: I have been studying English for five years (vijf jaar lang en nu nog steeds). 

- if the activity annoys you :

Example: I have been waiting for your reply for over a week!

- with the keywords 'recently' en 'lately':

Example: Recently, I have been feeling sick.

Ontkenningen-negations

Ontkenningen heten negations in het Engels.

Ontkenningen in de Present Simple

Ontkeningen maak je in de Present Simple met:

He, she, it (the boy, the girl etc) doesn't en heel werkwoord.

He lives in Roosendaal. He doesn't live in Roosendaal.

We, you, they, I don't en heel werkwoord.

We live in Breda. We don't live in Breda.
